Structure & Working Principle
The spring of a coilover is sleeved over the
Shock absorber body, which features external threads. Rotating the adjustment collar allows adjustment of the spring's extension and compression, as well as the height of the
Shock Absorber body, thereby altering the vehicle's minimum ground clearance. Some high-end coilovers also offer adjustable damping.
